The nappy Hamac® is a new underwear for babies : a pair of pants in which parents have the choice to put a disposable or a reusable absorbent pad.

It is more convenient than a reusable nappy and more economical and ecological than a disposable one.

The efficiency of the nappy Hamac® relies on its patented Hamacsystem®, thin, waterproof and breathable that ensures optimum comfort for baby.

The box Hamac® is composed of

- A pair of pants with a waterproof Hamac® and lots of lovely colours!

The absorbent pad that can be reusable or disposable :

- Two Disposable Pads : for a single use, 100% cellulose and biodegradable absorbent, chlorine free, chemical gel free, cellulose from France. Made in the EU.

- One Reusable Pad: 45% organic cotton and 55% hemp. It has a fleece side for a dry effect. Made in France.

- A liner to put on the reusable pad. It will allow throwing the stools directly into the toilets, and ease the change.

For a convenient use, it is best having at least four pairs of pants and a dozen absorbent pads per size.

Sizes

S -  4 to 9 Kgs (8,8 to 19,8 Lbs)

Advice

During the night or the nap, you can put 2 absorbent pads to increase the absorption.

We advise you to wash the nappy at 40° and the reusable pads between 60° and 90°.

Washing the pads at 60° with a disinfecting washing powder is enough for a perfect hygiene.

Why choose cloth nappies?

Cloth can save you money

Even if from the start the investment is important, cloth nappies are more economical than disposable ones. Even taking into account washing costs, you could save hundreds of pounds by using cloth nappies rather than disposables. The more children you plan to have, the more you will save, cloth nappies can be used again and again.

Cloth is better for the environment

At the moment, about 8 million disposable nappies are thrown away every day in the UK. The average baby will use more than 6,000 disposable nappies before potty, disposable nappies take 300-400 years to fully decompose.
By choosing cloth nappies, you could reduce your household rubbish by half.

Cloth is better for your baby’s health

By choosing cloth nappies, you are helping to protect your baby’s skin from harmful chemicals. (sodium polyacrylate, chlorine, plastics, adhesives……)

Cloth may help with toilet training

Toddlers in cloth nappies appear to be toilet trained earlier than those wearing disposable nappies. This may be because they become aware of when they have wet, as the moisture is not whisked away as quickly as by a disposable nappy.
